Meet Robyn

My name is Robyn and I use she/her pronouns. I reside in the North Eastman area of rural Manitoba, just outside of Winnipeg.

I am a consultant, a counsellor, a coach, a facilitator. I am also a mother, a partner, a friend, a community member, an ally, an advocate, a storyteller, an artist, a survivor. I am neurospicy and embracing the opportunity to be my unmasked self even if this means doing things in a non-traditional way.

My passions include:

  • Talking about inclusive sex education, nerding out about harm reduction and STBBIs

  • Connecting and relationship-building

  • Self-discovery, discovering the why

  • Talking about taboo and uncomfortable topics

  • Connecting to the land, participating in ceremony, and working with plant medicine

I am on a journey of reconciliation, introspection, curiosity and growth. I am guided by the seven sacred teachings, which are integrated into my work and my daily life. Working in a way that is rooted in connection, relationships and community is important to me. I believe that I have an important role in truth and reconciliation work as an ally, to challenge colonial systems and policies that are rooted in oppression and racism.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Conflict Resolution Studies and a certificate program in Career Counselling. Most of my career has centred around Neurodiversity, in particular FASD, harm reduction, sexual health and sex education, facilitating training, community development, working with justice involved youth, and working with survivors of sexualized violence. My passion is meeting people where they are at and making sure that they feel seen and heard. I feel honoured to do the work that I do and to have the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful people in our community.
